Mother Lion Live Music Series: Folk Night with The Spine Stealers & Scotty Neubs
Join us for an intimate evening of folk music at Mother Lion featuring The Spine Stealers with special guest Scotty Nuebs.
Known for their haunting harmonies and evocative storytelling, The Spine Stealers bring a dark, atmospheric folk sound that has quickly earned them a devoted Midwest following. Paired with the soulful songwriting of Scotty Nuebs, this is a rare chance to experience powerful live music in a cozy, listening-room setting.
Sound, Sauna, and Soak
Join me for an evening of simple nurture at The Mother Lion. Take an intentional pause for yourself to recharge and simply rest with a restorative sound bath, sauna, hot tub, yummy snacks and hot tea, and plenty of time to cozy up in the retreat of The Mother Lion house to read, chat with a friend, journal, knit, nap or do what feels best. An option for up to 4 registrants to add on a mini sound-massage or tuning fork tune up session is available for an additional $25 (each session is 20-30 minutes in length). Come alone or sign up with friends. A lovely winter escape in the heart of Bay View!

Shanna brings over a decade of practice in Mien Shiang and Taoist Five Element philosophy, weaving wisdom of nature, emotion, and inner harmony into her work. Jamie, a sound therapy practitioner, yoga instructor, and SEL educator, shares the healing power of crystal bowls and mindful presence cultivated through her personal journey and her work with children. Together, they create a nurturing space for release, reflection, and intention as we transition into winter’s quiet embrace.
Holiday Silk Dyeing Workshop

Learn how to naturally dye silk to create a beautiful reusable gift wrap or wearable art, and craft simple seasonal decorations with dried oranges, gingerbread stars, and balsam sprigs.
